AB To the Editor. 
    —I feel obliged to respond to Corbett et al (Archives 1982;39:461-474), who misrepresented a statement of mine by taking it out of context.1 They imputed to me the "idea" (their word) of not favoring performing a lumbar puncture to diagnose pseudotumor cerebri. Had they accurately read my remarks, they could have distinguished between a simple factual statement and an alleged idea. A careful rereading of the original article might obviate their perceived need to "take issue."
