Now, 54 years later, in 2013, comes JAMA Neurology. Name changes can have great significance beyond the cosmetic designation. JAMA Neurology signifies our re-creation as a member of a family of JAMA subspecialty journals with the parent flagship journal, JAMA. We have a track record over many decades of excellence in neurological publishing. We now refocus our commitment with the establishment of The JAMA Network, comprising 10 JAMA subspecialty journals, including JAMA Neurology, with JAMA, to present the most accurate, time-sensitive, rapid publication of neurological research, using our experienced JAMA Neurology Editorial Board along with our superb publication team at the American Medical Association.
