With several pocketbooks, well-written textbooks, and numerous review articles published, a new pocketbook on antiepileptic drugs must be able to fill a niche to be successful. Clinician's Guide to Antiepileptic Drug Use promises to fill such a niche. Relying on evidence-based medicine, rather than anecdote or opinion, it condenses much of the available information for the current antiepileptic drugs, for their neurological as well as psychiatric indications. It does this summarizing well.
